A safe place for your child to process worries and feelings

I provide a safe, accepting space for children to play out their "big" feelings. This opens possibilities for healing, change, and growth. Some of the common issues children come to see me about are

  • Anxiety

  • Depression

  • Anger expression

  • Suicidal thoughts and behaviors

  • Acting-out behaviors and aggression

  • Low self-image

  • Grief and loss

  • Serious illness in the family

  • Bullying

  • Trauma

  • School avoidance

  • Social anxiety and friendship concerns

  • Low motivation

meeting with parents is part of my work

Before I meet with your child, I meet with you. As a parent, you know your child best and therapy goes more smoothly when we work together. Regular meetings with parents allows me to collaborate with families and think with you about what is going on with your child.

Sometimes, particularly for younger children, sessions will include both parent(s) and child which allows me to guide you in the moment.
